Matthias Holmgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Torsten Bremming made a huge save. 25 minutes into the match, Jörlanda's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Jonasson came free, but Renaldo Segarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Mats Jonasson put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Renaldo Segarra. In the 35th minute, Matthias Holmgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute, Joar Sjödin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Renaldo Segarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Jonasson in the 40th minute of play. Östen Hedin kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Matthias Holmgren really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matthias Holmgren to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joar Sjödin got free with Renaldo Segarra in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 52nd match minute, Jörlanda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heine Weitemeyer to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Jörlanda's zone, Joar Sjödin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renaldo Segarra came out of the goal and Joar Sjödin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Änglarna's Mats Jonasson got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joseph Tinglöv during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th match minute, Jörlanda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joseph Tinglöv to maneuver through the defense. Joar Sjödin came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Renaldo Segarra could save by the left post. Joar Sjödin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Renaldo Segarra came out and tried to block the shot, but Joar Sjödin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 82nd minute. Torsten Bremming showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthias Holmgren in the 84th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mats Jonasson in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renaldo Segarra saved Jörlanda from getting behind. Matthias Holmgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Torsten Bremming tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Jörlanda getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Matthias Holmgren hit a great ball. The supporters of Jörlanda booed when Änglarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Nyman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Änglarna supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Änglarna would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
