Spectators: 7711 (Terracing: 5785, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mats Jonasson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Joar Sjödin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mattias Valström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Browall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute Änglarna were awarded a corner. Joar Billberg went to the cornerflag to take it. Christian Skoglund's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Torsten Bremming skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Torsten Bremming made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Christian Skoglund sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Änglarna defense, Måns Beckeman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torsten Bremming. The Änglarna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torsten Bremming should have stopped the shot. Änglarna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joar Billberg in the 18th minute. The corner ended in Joar Billberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Granarna's Mattias Valström did a great save. In the 21st match minute, Granarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Skoglund to maneuver through the defense. Mattias Valström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Jonasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torsten Bremming stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Skoglund's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Roland Martinsson hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Jonasson in the 35th minute of play forced Granarna's goalkeeper Mattias Valström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 minutes Granarna's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joar Billberg who took care of the corner kick. Christian Skoglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Torsten Bremming tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mattias Valström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Browall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Granarna fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! Mattias Valström went to the wrong direction when Joar Sjödin was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Skoglund to make the kick off. Joar Sjödins short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Mattias Valström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Granarna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joar Billberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Änglarna's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Göran Browall almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Granarna's Mattias Valström did a great save. Torsten Bremming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Skoglund in the 60th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Christian Skoglund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torsten Bremming was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. After 64 played minutes Änglarna got a freekick which was hit by Joar Billberg. Harry Nyman struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Mattias Valström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Änglarna. When Granarna's Christian Skoglund in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Änglarna's goalie prevented a goal. Göran Browall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mattias Valström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mats Jonasson's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Torsten Bremming stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Skoglund's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Christian Skoglund struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Torsten Bremming didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Granarna. With a little luck, Granarna's Mattias Valström got control of the ball when Joar Sjödin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Änglarna's Joar Billberg got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kurt Lindholm during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th minute, Kurt Lindholm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Änglarna's Mattias Valström threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mats Jonasson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 93 minutes Granarna's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joar Billberg who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Änglarna's corner Joar Billberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mattias Valström quite easily take care of the ball.
