In the 28th minute, Änglarna's Per-Arne Askstedt seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Per-Arne Askstedt the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Änglarna protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Per-Arne Askstedt had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 28 played minutes Änglarna got a freekick which was hit by Per-Arne Askstedt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kåre Åkesson in the 29th minute of play forced Änglarna's goalkeeper Torsten Bremming to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Göran Browall had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tobias Andreasson. Dala-Floda AIK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Göran Browall was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.
