The Stillingsön fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torgny Algren should have stopped the shot. Urban Petersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 12 played minutes Stillingsön got a freekick which was hit by Wictor Kvick. After 16 minutes of play, Stillingsön's Rickard Nilsson made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Håkan Törnqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Torgny Algren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaf Rudberg in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Wictor Kvick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dynamo Strandnäs's Gustaf Rudberg got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urban Petersson in the 28th minute of play forced Dynamo Strandnäs's goalkeeper Håkan Törnqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dynamo Strandnäs's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Reine Tinglöv was slow to take the kick. During this time Stillingsön's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Rickard Nilsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Håkan Törnqvist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Urban Petersson came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Stillingsön fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urban Petersson couldn't finish the play. Johnny Wahlnäs kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 44th minute Gustaf Rudberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torgny Algren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Håkan Törnqvist successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 56 minutes, Wictor Kvick mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stillingsön and the Dynamo Strandnäs players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, Wictor Kvick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustaf Rudberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dynamo Strandnäs's Håkan Törnqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urban Petersson in the 81st minute of play. Håkan Törnqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Torgny Algren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaf Rudberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonny Vacker during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Dynamo Strandnäs getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Jonny Vacker hit a great ball. Dynamo Strandnäs's Rutger Kellbom was substituted for Jonny Vacker.
