In the 8th minute Ingvar Lindström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristián Monasterio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Aquatec FC fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Aquatec FC's Roger Häll looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Ånäset FK booed when Aquatec FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Häll didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Vincent Abubakar sped through Ånäset FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Måns Isaksson. The Aquatec FC fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Aquatec FC's Roger Häll looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Vincent Abubakar sped through Ånäset FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Måns Isaksson. Måns Isaksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Abubakar in the 38th minute of the match. When Aquatec FC's Vincent Abubakar in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Måns Isaksson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henrik Uijterhoven could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Cristián Monasterio made a huge save. If Roger Häll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Aquatec FC's Roger Häll sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Måns Isaksson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ingvar Lindström made a kick off. Roger Häll's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Måns Isaksson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Vincent Abubakar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Måns Isaksson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Åke Boberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Aquatec FC's Vincent Abubakar got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 73rd minute of the match, Roger Häll got a very nice opportunity to score, but Måns Isaksson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Roger Häll in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Måns Isaksson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ånäset FK's Måns Isaksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent Abubakar in the 77th minute of play. Måns Isaksson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vincent Abubakar's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Aquatec FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Lindström came free, but Cristián Monasterio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roger Häll struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Måns Isaksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aquatec FC. Måns Isaksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Abubakar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aquatec FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
