Jörn Strömberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roger Häll in the 5th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Roger Häll could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Jörn Strömberg however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Formsvacka FF's Simon Rydberg got a free kick in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Aquatec FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sigvard Hammarberg came free, but Cristián Monasterio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sigvard Hammarberg in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristián Monasterio saved Aquatec FC from getting behind. After 33 minutes, Sigvard Hammarberg made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Aquatec FC's Cristián Monasterio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Roger Hälls short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Jörn Strömberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 38 minutes into the match, Aquatec FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell-Arne Bengtsson came free, but Cristián Monasterio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristián Monasterio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niklas Jönsson's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kjell-Arne Bengtsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aquatec FC's Vincent Abubakar got a good chance for a goal in the 50th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jörn Strömberg came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Aquatec FC's Beto dos Santos. But to his dismay, Beto dos Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Vincent Abubakar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Jörn Strömberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Roger Häll came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Aquatec FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roger Häll couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincent Abubakar in the 59th minute of play forced Formsvacka FF's goalkeeper Jörn Strömberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kjell-Arne Bengtsson got free with Cristián Monasterio in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jörn Strömberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincent Abubakar, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 64 played minutes Formsvacka FF got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Bållström. In the 67th minute of the match Aquatec FC got a corner. Formsvacka FF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zumar Gascon ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cristián Monasterio made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Kjell-Arne Bengtsson sent off a good shot on target. Kjell-Arne Bengtsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Cristián Monasterio made a huge save. Aquatec FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Formsvacka FF the free kick. When Alvin Viberg came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Formsvacka FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvin Viberg couldn't finish the play. Aquatec FC's Cristián Monasterio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Aquatec FC from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute Roger Häll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörn Strömberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90thth minute of the game Roger Häll who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Formsvacka FF's Jörn Strömberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 96th minute, Beto dos Santos made a precise shot to the right of Jörn Strömberg. Formsvacka FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Aquatec FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
