Manfred Vacker started the match with the kick off. If Edgar Michnik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manfred Vacker took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petter Karlsson. Petter Karlsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Manfred Vacker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Petter Karlsson was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Petter Karlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Michnik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petter Karlsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manfred Vacker's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Berga BK's Pelle Lindholm suffered a concussion in the 15th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 15 minutes, Edgar Michnik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Norra Sandby FF and the Berga BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Berga BK's Agne Hedlund was substituted for Pelle Lindholm. After having played for 21 minutes, Edgar Michnik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Norra Sandby FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Michnik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bakar Kaká struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Petter Karlsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Norra Sandby FF. Jarl Vennerdal hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Norra Sandby FF were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Berga BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Manfred Vacker took the corner. Petter Karlsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bakar Kaká in the 31st minute of the match. Petter Karlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thor Bållström, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adrian Hedman was the one to do the kick off. When Fredric Odin fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Berga BK's protests and gave Fredric Odin a yellow card for diving instead. After 51 played minutes Berga BK got a freekick which was hit by Fredric Odin. Norra Sandby FF's Manfred Vacker got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Berga BK's goalkeeper Petter Karlsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Petter Karlsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manfred Vacker's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Uba Uba came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Berga BK's Jarl Vennerdal. But to his dismay, Jarl Vennerdal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Uba Uba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Hedman, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Patrik Hedling lost his temper 64 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Patrik Hedling hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, Norra Sandby FF's Manfred Vacker broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Petter Karlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bakar Kaká, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Manfred Vacker had several of the Berga BK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 73 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Petter Karlsson as he didn't even see the shot coming. Evert Wester received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Petter Karlsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Evert Wester slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 77th minute. In the 82nd minute, Norra Sandby FF's Bakar Kaká dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. The supporters of Berga BK booed when Norra Sandby FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bakar Kaká didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petter Karlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bakar Kaká, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Petter Karlsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bakar Kaká in the 95th minute of play. Norra Sandby FF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
