Spectators: 7466 (Terracing: 5841, Seating: 1620, VIP seats: 5) Avantgarde's Carl Brandin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Åttesta BK's Kristoffer Malmberg got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Greger Bogren took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andy Molander. Andy Molander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Andy Molander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Brandin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Åttesta BK's Per-Olof Bryngelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Kristoffer Malmberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute Carl Brandin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Molander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andy Molander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Brandin in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, Åttesta BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Gerdberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Ingvar Karlsson made a precise shot to the right of Andy Molander. Åttesta BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Avantgarde's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gustav Mårtensson in the 31st minute. Sven-Arne Salqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Carl Brandin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andy Molander having to interfere. When Kristoffer Malmberg was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 35 minutes had been played. Åttesta BK:s Andy Molander showed great skill when he stopped Carl Brandin:s penalty. Bolli Elin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ben Foster having to interfere. If Carl Brandin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ben Foster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bolli Elin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andy Molander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Brandin in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When Greger Bogren came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Avantgarde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Greger Bogren couldn't finish the play. Per-Olof Bryngelsson's late challenge caught a Avantgarde's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Per-Olof Bryngelsson helped the player get up and apologised. Avantgarde made a substitution. Marko Kilman replaced Mårten Julin. Per-Olof Bryngelsson hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Avantgarde's Sven-Arne Salqvist got a free kick in the 58th minute. After a rather tough play, Åttesta BK's Bror Kullander got a free kick in the 60th minute. Carl Brandin really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. 86 minutes into the match, Lennart Westerstrand had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andy Molander. Åttesta BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lennart Westerstrand was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. A collision led to Avantgarde getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Karl-Ove Säfström hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Åttesta BK's Artemio Urtsua got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After some careless play in the Åttesta BK defense, Carl Brandin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andy Molander. The Åttesta BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andy Molander should have stopped the shot. Avantgarde's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
