The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Lilo Stitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laxdräparns FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lilo Stitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melker Beckman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Laxdräparns FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Jonny Jonasson hit a great ball. Hooligans FC's Jean Peixoto got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Melker Beckman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lilo Stitz in the 20th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean Peixoto in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Sillén saved Laxdräparns FC from getting behind. If Boris Blom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jean Peixoto in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Sillén prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute, Stig-Ove Nilsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Hooligans FC's Melker Beckman got control of the ball when Lilo Stitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Hooligans FC fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Hooligans FC's Jean Peixoto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ralf Kullander made a kick off. Jan Sillén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After a rather tough play, Hooligans FC's 龚林彬 got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute, Ralf Kullander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melker Beckman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 64th minute, Jonny Jonasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan Sillén made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean Peixoto in the 65th minute. Melker Beckman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralf Kullander in the 67th minute of play. Jan Sillén was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jean Peixoto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 76 minute of play.
