Marcelinho Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Bodin having to interfere. Michael Bodin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Sumendap in the 18th minute of the match. A collision led to AIK 1891 getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Jimmy Henriksson hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Augusto Corrêa got free with Michael Bodin in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anton Molander during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Michael Bodin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the AIK 1891 defense, Casper Sundström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michael Bodin. The AIK 1891 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michael Bodin should have stopped the shot. After having played for 78 minutes, Peter Sumendap managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Sumendap in the 85th minute of play forced AIK 1891's goalkeeper Michael Bodin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
