Spectators: 7795 (Terracing: 5847, Seating: 1793, VIP seats: 155) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Peter Sumendap took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dan Blom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Sumendap, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 3 played minutes Newcastle United FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelinho Gonçalves. After some careless play in the Rambos Pöjkar defense, Marcelinho Gonçalves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dan Blom. The Rambos Pöjkar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dan Blom should have stopped the shot. 10 minutes into the game, Magno Maltha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Newcastle United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rambos Pöjkar the free kick. After 10 played minutes Newcastle United FC got a freekick which was hit by Magno Maltha. After 12 minutes, Osvald Bergqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newcastle United FC and the Rambos Pöjkar players grew even worse after the yellow card. 16 minutes into the game, Marcelinho Gonçalves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Dan Blom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Rambos Pöjkar's Arne Julin got a free kick in the 19th minute. Marcelinho Gonçalves took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dan Blom. Dan Blom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Peter Sumendap fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Blom having to interfere. Magno Maltha kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Peter Sumendap struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Dan Blom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newcastle United FC. 43 minutes into the game, Newcastle United FC's Marcelinho Gonçalves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dan Blom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. When Stig Albohm fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Newcastle United FC's protests and gave Stig Albohm a yellow card for diving instead. Stig Albohm hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Gustav Thorsberg struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Jack Blom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rambos Pöjkar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustav Thorsberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelinho Gonçalves got free with Dan Blom in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 56 minutes into the game, Newcastle United FC's Marcelinho Gonçalves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dan Blom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Rambos Pöjkar's Dan Blom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Sumendap in the 60th minute of play. Dan Blom came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Newcastle United FC's Marcelinho Gonçalves. But to his dismay, Marcelinho Gonçalves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. If Marcelinho Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Tommy Eliasson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jack Blom was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. Gustav Thorsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Peter Sumendap might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dan Blom. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peter Sumendap ran back to his position shaking his head. Newcastle United FC's Casper Sundström was substituted for Marcelinho Gonçalves. In the 88th play minute Casper Sundström came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dan Blom. 1-7. Tommy Eliasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Newcastle United FC played a much better game than Rambos Pöjkar and deserved their victory. The Rambos Pöjkar players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
