The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Skogsbackens IK got a freekick which was hit by Robert Asklund. Skogsbackens IK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arne Stål ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 18 minutes, Heikki Heinikallio made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Skogsbackens IK's Mark Granström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mark Granström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heikki Heinikallio in the 20th minute of play. After 21st play minutes Heikki Heinikallio shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Mark Granström and just under the crossbar into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Heikki Heinikallio managed to get in a good position for a shot. BrommaPojkarna BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Heikki Heinikallio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mark Granström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mark Granström came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by BrommaPojkarna BK's Arne Stål. But to his dismay, Arne Stål quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Mark Granström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvin Holmberg in the 37th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Heikki Heinikallio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mark Granström was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. When BrommaPojkarna BK's Heikki Heinikallio in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Skogsbackens IK's goalie prevented a goal. 46 minutes into the game, Tommy Bogren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skogsbackens IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BrommaPojkarna BK the free kick. The supporters of BrommaPojkarna BK booed when Skogsbackens IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Bogren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Skogsbackens IK's Juste Sapp got a free kick in the 47th minute. The Skogsbackens IK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BrommaPojkarna BK were winning 0-6.

The wind increased when Heikki Heinikallio made the kick off in the second half. Mark Granström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvin Holmberg in the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Heikki Heinikallio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mark Granström, 0-8. Arne Stål received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Mark Granström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Per-Arne Åkerberg fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BrommaPojkarna BK's protests and gave Per-Arne Åkerberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to BrommaPojkarna BK getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Per-Arne Åkerberg hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Juste Sapp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Skogsbackens IK booed when BrommaPojkarna BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arvin Holmberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Mark Granström managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when BrommaPojkarna BK's Heikki Heinikallio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 74th minute, Bengt-Åke Landin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mark Granström. The goal made the score 0-9. Jerry Hammarbäck hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Arvin Holmberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mark Granström was a little too slow when Arne Stål got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-10. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heikki Heinikallio in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mark Granström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mark Granström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Heikki Heinikallio's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. In the 92nd match minute, BrommaPojkarna BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Edvin Apelquist to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute of the match Juste Sapp shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Svante Lundqvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 96th minute Ömer Rıza Kutel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svante Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 98th minute, Juste Sapp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mark Granström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Heikki Heinikallio in the 99th minute. When the final whistle sounded BrommaPojkarna BK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Skogsbackens IK.
