Tommy Eliasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Granström having to interfere. The Skogsbackens IK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rambos Pöjkar were winning 0-2.

After 93 minutes of play, Skogsbackens IK's Carlos Garcés made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dan Blom was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rambos Pöjkar eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
