After 6 minutes Newcastle United FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arne Stål who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Jerry Hammarbäck got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jack Blom quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kenneth Blixt during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Newcastle United FC's Kenneth Blixt got a free kick in the 8th minute. Newcastle United FC's Jack Blom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvin Holmberg in the 10th minute of play. The corner led BrommaPojkarna BK's Arne Stål to fire away a dangerous shot which Jack Blom despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to BrommaPojkarna BK getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Nils-Emil Löfgren hit a great ball. César de Senna took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Svante Lundqvist. BrommaPojkarna BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 18th minute, Heikki Heinikallio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BrommaPojkarna BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Heikki Heinikallio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to BrommaPojkarna BK getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Arne Stål hit a great ball. After 30 played minutes Newcastle United FC got a freekick which was hit by Osvald Bergqvist. After 32 minutes of play Newcastle United FC's Kenneth Blixt was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 31 minutes into the game, one of Newcastle United FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 33 minutes, BrommaPojkarna BK's Heikki Heinikallio got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jack Blom. In the 36th match minute, BrommaPojkarna BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvin Holmberg to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Heikki Heinikallio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jack Blom was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After 46 minutes, Per-Arne Åkerberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BrommaPojkarna BK and the Newcastle United FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Newcastle United FC booed when BrommaPojkarna BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heikki Heinikallio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peter Sumendap stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Jerry Hammarbäck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in BrommaPojkarna BK's zone, Peter Sumendap stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Svante Lundqvist came out of the goal and Peter Sumendap tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Svante Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kalle Duset, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Jack Blom stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Heikki Heinikallio's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Newcastle United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Heikki Heinikallio came free, but Jack Blom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes in the game, César de Senna fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Svante Lundqvist having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Sumendap in the 72nd minute of play forced BrommaPojkarna BK's goalkeeper Svante Lundqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Stig Albohm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the match, Newcastle United FC's Peter Sumendap sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Svante Lundqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, BrommaPojkarna BK's Jerry Hammarbäck got a free kick in the 85th minute. Jack Blom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvin Holmberg in the 88th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Heikki Heinikallio in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jack Blom saved Newcastle United FC from getting behind. In the 91st minute César de Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svante Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jack Blom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heikki Heinikallio in the 93rd minute of play. BrommaPojkarna BK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
