Evert Ahlerot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. In the 71st minute, Erlend Øvereng got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dennis Berg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thor Hammer in the 78th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olof Lundqvist during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Evert Ahlerot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 96 minutes into the game, Erlend Øvereng cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-2. Evert Ahlerot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Symphony Blue players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
