When Billy Magnusson came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Resarö Maffian fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Billy Magnusson couldn't finish the play. Anton Coja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Azemis FF's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Magnusson came free, but Sverker Nordmark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Resarö Maffian's zone, Kurt Klementsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Oskar Gustavsson came out of the goal and Kurt Klementsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wictor Eklund hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Sverker Nordmark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billy Magnusson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sverker Nordmark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Magnusson in the 35th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anton Coja got free with Sverker Nordmark in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sverker Nordmark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billy Magnusson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sven Arvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Azemis FF getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Jörn Kellbom hit a great ball. Azemis FF's Sverker Nordmark proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Azemis FF from getting a goal against them. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Billy Magnusson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Azemis FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wictor Eklund to maneuver through the defense. Sven Arvidsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kent Brander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jörn Kellbom kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Azemis FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Fernkvist to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the game, Sven Arvidsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Resarö Maffian's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Azemis FF the free kick. After a rather tough play, Resarö Maffian's Sven Arvidsson got a free kick in the 70th minute. Kurt Klementsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Azemis FF's Robin Fernkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sven Arvidsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sverker Nordmark having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leif Öberg during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leif Öberg kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Billy Magnusson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Resarö Maffian's supporters crossed their fingers, but Billy Magnusson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szczepan Januszewski in the 82nd minute of play forced Azemis FF's goalkeeper Sverker Nordmark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven Arvidsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sverker Nordmark having to interfere. Resarö Maffian walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
