If Robert Sjödin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Qvarnström in the 13th minute of play forced FC Korsband's goalkeeper Sixten Gustavsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Korsband booed when Växjö fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Qvarnström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25thth minute of the game Leonard Qvarnström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Korsband's Sixten Gustavsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bo Beck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Sixten Gustavsson made a huge save. Birger Axelsson struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Iwan Fafinski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Korsband. If Birger Axelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Filip Bammerman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When FC Korsband's Filip Bammerman in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Iwan Fafinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Bammerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filip Bammerman made a kick off. If Leonard Qvarnström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 54 minutes into the match, Växjö fc's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Bammerman came free, but Iwan Fafinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Nathan Le Dantec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sixten Gustavsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Växjö fc's Iwan Fafinski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Växjö fc from getting a goal against them. Sixten Gustavsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralph Carey-Bertram in the 85th minute of the match. Ralph Carey-Bertram's late challenge caught a FC Korsband's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ralph Carey-Bertram helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute, Ralph Carey-Bertram hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iwan Fafinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Bammerman in the 89th minute of play. If Arman Bure had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Birger Axelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Iwan Fafinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Växjö fc support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
