The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Ström during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sebastian Ström hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Karl-Oskar Gustavsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thor Hammer, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thor Hammer in the 28th minute of play forced Resarö Maffian's goalkeeper Karl-Oskar Gustavsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Westeros's Thor Hammer in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Karl-Oskar Gustavsson came out of the goal and Mario Cordarrol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Magnusson in the 43rd minute of play forced Westeros's goalkeeper Evert Ahlerot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Cordarrol to make the kick off. Thor Hammer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Karl-Oskar Gustavsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Westeros's zone, Billy Magnusson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evert Ahlerot came out of the goal and Billy Magnusson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, Resarö Maffian's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Cordarrol came free, but Karl-Oskar Gustavsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bo Askelöf kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Resarö Maffian's Anton Coja couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Westeros. After a rather tough play, Resarö Maffian's Kent Brander got a free kick in the 59th minute. Karl-Oskar Gustavsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Cordarrol went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 66th match minute, Westeros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Pihlberg to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Magnusson in the 69th minute of play forced Westeros's goalkeeper Evert Ahlerot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that John Alrot got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Karl-Oskar Gustavsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 73rd match minute, Resarö Maffian was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szczepan Januszewski to maneuver through the defense. After 76 played minutes, Resarö Maffian's Anton Coja shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Evert Ahlerot came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Resarö Maffian reached it. Tomas Zachrisson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Oskar Gustavsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Thor Hammer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Oskar Gustavsson. Resarö Maffian's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thor Hammer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Karl-Oskar Gustavsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Cordarrol in the 92nd minute of play. Westeros's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
