In the 9th match minute, FC Korsband was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Sjödin to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Birger Axelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Korsband's supporters rose to their feet, but Birger Axelsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Oskar Gustavsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Richard Lange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Birger Axelsson had several of the Resarö Maffian's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 28 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Karl-Oskar Gustavsson as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 32nd minute Szczepan Januszewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixten Gustavsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Korsband's Sixten Gustavsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szczepan Januszewski in the 33rd minute of play. Robert Sjödin's late challenge caught a Resarö Maffian's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robert Sjödin helped the player get up and apologised. Karl-Oskar Gustavsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Birger Axelsson in the 36th minute. Sixten Gustavsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Arvidsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Resarö Maffian's Karl-Oskar Gustavsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Resarö Maffian from getting a goal against them. Karl-Oskar Gustavsson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 48th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ulf Bengtsson.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Billy Magnusson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Szczepan Januszewski got free with Sixten Gustavsson in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Filip Bammerman scored 4-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl-Oskar Gustavsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 60 minutes into the match, FC Korsband's goalkeeper Sixten Gustavsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Szczepan Januszewski. After 69 minutes, Richard Lange mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Korsband and the Resarö Maffian players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Korsband's Richard Lange got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 78th minute, Resarö Maffian's Billy Magnusson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sixten Gustavsson. Sixten Gustavsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-3. After 84 played minutes FC Korsband got a freekick which was hit by Ulf Bengtsson. 86 minutes into the game, Sebastian Ström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Resarö Maffian's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Korsband the free kick. After a rather tough play, Resarö Maffian's Sebastian Ström got a free kick in the 86th minute. Richard Lange missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 88 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Karl-Oskar Gustavsson right hand side. Karl-Oskar Gustavsson came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Korsband's Filip Bammerman. But to his dismay, Filip Bammerman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of FC Korsband:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Resarö Maffian:s goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Korsband fans cheered their team off the field, for while Resarö Maffian had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
