After some careless play in the Murrespor defense, Mario Cordarrol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andréas Bröms. The Murrespor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andréas Bröms should have stopped the shot. Murrespor's Andréas Bröms played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Zachrisson in the 26th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Murrespor's zone, Mario Cordarrol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andréas Bröms came out of the goal and Mario Cordarrol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 38 played minutes, Westeros's John Alrot shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andréas Bröms came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Westeros reached it. 44 minutes into the match, Tomas Zachrisson notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Murrespor's Andréas Bröms. Andréas Bröms was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Thor Hammer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Andréas Bröms made a huge save. Andréas Bröms made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Thor Hammer sent off a good shot on target.
