The supporters of Smurfarna booed when Eda FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sverker Lindström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elliott Dalman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Magnus Skålberg. Eda FF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Magnus Skålberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens Björling in the 4th minute of play. Tord Gustafsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eda FF's Magnus Skålberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tord Gustafsson in the 17th minute of play. After 18 minutes Eda FF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elliott Dalman who took care of the corner kick. Robin Eliasson made a great header on Smurfarna's corner, it was just that Eda FF's Magnus Skålberg managed to reach the ball for a save. Tord Fors made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Stor Stakemann sent off a good shot on target. Stor Stakemann did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Tord Fors 21 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Smurfarna's Lennart Hallgren got a free kick in the 26th minute. Tord Fors was a little too slow when Stor Stakemann got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 2-0. After a rather tough play, Smurfarna's Arne Askstedt got a free kick in the 31st minute. Stor Stakemann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Magnus Skålberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Smurfarna's Tord Fors played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Biörk in the 68th minute of play. Tord Gustafsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magnus Skålberg having to interfere. Tord Fors made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Biörk in the 76th minute of play. Per-Arne Hammarström's late challenge caught a Eda FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With a little luck, Eda FF's Magnus Skålberg got control of the ball when Jens Björling tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tord Fors showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stor Stakemann, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Salvator Llanos kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Magnus Skålberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tord Gustafsson in the 88th minute of play. When Robin Eliasson fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Smurfarna's protests and gave Robin Eliasson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Smurfarna getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Robin Eliasson hit a great ball. Arne Askstedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carl Biörk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tord Fors having to interfere.
