Spectators: 7691 (Terracing: 5769, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonard Qvarnström started the match with the kick off. Iwan Fafinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Szczepan Januszewski in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Qvarnström in the 7th minute of play forced Resarö Maffian's goalkeeper Karl-Oskar Gustavsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Resarö Maffian's Karl-Oskar Gustavsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Lano in the 9th minute of play. Iwan Fafinski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven Arvidsson in the 12th minute. In the 20th minute Aurelio Lano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Oskar Gustavsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 played minutes Resarö Maffian got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Ström. Emil Gavran hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Anton Coja struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Iwan Fafinski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Resarö Maffian. In the 28th minute Billy Magnusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Fafinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iwan Fafinski was a little too slow when Sven Arvidsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-0. 34 minutes into the match, Växjö fc's goalkeeper Iwan Fafinski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven Arvidsson. Iwan Fafinski made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Sven Arvidsson sent off a good shot on target. Iwan Fafinski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven Arvidsson in the 37th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Växjö fc's goalkeeper Iwan Fafinski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven Arvidsson. Iwan Fafinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Arvidsson in the 48th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Billy Magnusson made a kick off. Szczepan Januszewski scored 3-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iwan Fafinski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Iwan Fafinski came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Resarö Maffian's Billy Magnusson. But to his dismay, Billy Magnusson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 74th minute, Sven Arvidsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iwan Fafinski was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 77 minutes into the match, Växjö fc's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Magnusson came free, but Iwan Fafinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kent Brander took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iwan Fafinski. Iwan Fafinski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Anton Västlund lost his temper 83 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Resarö Maffian:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Växjö fc:s goal. A collision led to Växjö fc getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Dave Alexis hit a great ball. Resarö Maffian walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
