Spectators: 7584 (Terracing: 5766, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 50) FC Korsband's Filip Bammerman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes of play, Smurfarna's Tord Gustafsson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sixten Gustavsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sixten Gustavsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tord Gustafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elliott Dalman in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sixten Gustavsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tord Gustafsson took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sixten Gustavsson. Sixten Gustavsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Tord Gustafsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 27 in the game by Filip Bammerman from a close distance when the talented Tord Fors managed to make a qualified save. Smurfarna's players were relieved. After 29 minutes of play, Smurfarna's Jens Björling made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sixten Gustavsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The nice shot from Filip Bammerman in the 33rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Tord Fors had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. 34 minutes into the game, Smurfarna's Tord Gustafsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sixten Gustavsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tord Gustafsson in the 37th minute of play forced FC Korsband's goalkeeper Sixten Gustavsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Jens Björling had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sixten Gustavsson. FC Korsband's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jens Björling was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. After a rather tough play, FC Korsband's Dan Hake got a free kick in the 44th minute. 44 minutes into the game, one of FC Korsband:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 45th minute there was a penalty for Smurfarna. Tord Gustafsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sixten Gustavsson. 0-7. After the first half Smurfarna were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute, Smurfarna's Jens Björling dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. Jens Björling had several of the FC Korsband's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 54 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-9 score and a disappointed Sixten Gustavsson as he didn't even see the shot coming. Robert Sjödin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tord Fors having to interfere. Sixten Gustavsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jens Björling showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 60 minute of play. Sixten Gustavsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tord Gustafsson in the 66th minute of the match. Sixten Gustavsson was a little too slow when Tord Gustafsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-11. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens Björling got free with Sixten Gustavsson in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Smurfarna booed when FC Korsband was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Hake didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jens Björling scored 0-12 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sixten Gustavsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 78 in the game by Jens Björling from a close distance when the talented Sixten Gustavsson managed to make a qualified save. FC Korsband's players were relieved. 81 minutes into the match, FC Korsband's goalkeeper Sixten Gustavsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jens Björling. Jens Björling took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sixten Gustavsson. Sixten Gustavsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-13. Sixten Gustavsson didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 85th minute, which inside left pole to 0-14. Sixten Gustavsson made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Jens Björling sent off a good shot on target. Malte Brummer hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Jens Björling made a precise shot to the right of Sixten Gustavsson. FC Korsband's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-15. 93 minutes into the game, Tord Gustafsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sixten Gustavsson. Tord Gustafsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-16. Smurfarna's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
