Van Lentz succeeded in the game's 4th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 9th minute Jesper Biörkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Fafinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Leonard Springfält hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 10 played minutes, Riala Goif's André Lameirinhas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iwan Fafinski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Riala Goif reached it. Van Lentz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iwan Fafinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesper Biörkman in the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Lano in the 16th minute of play forced Riala Goif's goalkeeper Tom Bur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Alvin Rosin could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Iwan Fafinski however easily saved by the left post. Emil Gavran hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Växjö fc's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Van Lentz scored to the left of an out of position Iwan Fafinski, making the score, 3-0. 27 minutes into the game, Jesper Biörkman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Iwan Fafinski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Van Lentz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Iwan Fafinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Riala Goif's Jesper Biörkman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iwan Fafinski. Iwan Fafinski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Van Lentz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Iwan Fafinski made a huge save. Alvin Rosin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelio Lano in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tom Bur saved Riala Goif from getting behind. In the 42ndth minute of the game Leonard Qvarnström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Riala Goif's Tom Bur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 43 played minutes Riala Goif got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Söderlund. Iwan Fafinski was a little too slow when André Lameirinhas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 6-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Van Lentz to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Växjö fc got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Lano. In the 57th minute Alvin Rosin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Fafinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Växjö fc's Iwan Fafinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvin Rosin in the 59th minute of play. Riala Goif's Tom Bur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Qvarnström in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvin Rosin in the 63rd minute of play forced Växjö fc's goalkeeper Iwan Fafinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francois Ballette charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francois Ballette the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jesper Biörkman hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Dave Alexis lost his temper 88 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Växjö fc fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! In the 89th minute there was a penalty for Riala Goif. André Lameirinhas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Iwan Fafinski. 8-0. After a rather tough play, Riala Goif's Ingvar Söderlund got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute, Växjö fc's Leonard Qvarnström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 8-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Riala Goif fully deserved thier win.
