CD Calle Gimena's Ivar Deckbergh couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Behrn Arena IF. Durlabha Burlaka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Malte Nyberg's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. With his leg Durlabha Burlaka managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Behrn Arena IF's Kenny Ekeroth fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 17 in the game by Malte Nyberg from a close distance when the talented Durlabha Burlaka managed to make a qualified save. CD Calle Gimena's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopold Asselberghs in the 18th minute of play forced Behrn Arena IF's goalkeeper Palle Bødinni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Malte Nyberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Durlabha Burlaka. That made the score 1-1 in the 22 minute of play. The supporters of CD Calle Gimena booed when Behrn Arena IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Nyberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Behrn Arena IF's goal looked a bit too open when Manfred Bjurström came free, but Palle Bødinni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, CD Calle Gimena's goalkeeper Durlabha Burlaka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Malte Nyberg. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kenny Ekeroth got free with Durlabha Burlaka in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Durlabha Burlaka made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Charles-Henri Briat sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th minute, Uno Strömqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Malte Nyberg in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Durlabha Burlaka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 41 minutes into the match, Leopold Asselberghs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Palle Bødinni. Behrn Arena IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leopold Asselberghs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Malte Nyberg was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudio Iachini during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to CD Calle Gimena getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Claudio Iachini hit a great ball. In the 62ndth minute of the game Charles-Henri Briat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Calle Gimena's Durlabha Burlaka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Durlabha Burlaka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malte Nyberg in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute of the match, Uno Strömqvist got a very nice opportunity to score, but Palle Bødinni was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Durlabha Burlaka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malte Nyberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th match minute, Behrn Arena IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hubert Persson to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Kenny Ekeroth made a precise shot to the right of Durlabha Burlaka. CD Calle Gimena's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 74 minutes into the match, Kenny Ekeroth notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of CD Calle Gimena's Durlabha Burlaka. Durlabha Burlaka was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Behrn Arena IF's Palle Bødinni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopold Asselberghs in the 81st minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, CD Calle Gimena's goal looked a bit too open when Malte Nyberg came free, but Durlabha Burlaka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute of the match Behrn Arena IF got a corner. CD Calle Gimena's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bengt-Rune Sandström ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Behrn Arena IF's Bengt-Rune Sandström to fire away a dangerous shot which Durlabha Burlaka despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game was made by Hubert Persson with Charles-Henri Briat as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Palle Bødinni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopold Asselberghs in the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Behrn Arena IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while CD Calle Gimena had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
