With a little luck, Östersunds FK's Niklas Rudkvist got control of the ball when Charles-Henri Briat tried to sneak it across the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, Charles-Henri Briat recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Niklas Rudkvist. Charles-Henri Briat showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Charles-Henri Briat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Leif Engström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Palle Bødinni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Hake in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Kenny Ekeroth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Östersunds FK defense, Herman Bogren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niklas Rudkvist. The Östersunds FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niklas Rudkvist should have stopped the shot. The Behrn Arena IF fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Behrn Arena IF's Malte Nyberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet as Malte Nyberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Niklas Rudkvist. That made the score 4-0 in the 31 minute of play. Niklas Rudkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reine Benet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Östersunds FK's Christian Nordal got a free kick in the 40th minute. Palle Bødinni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Hake in the 43rd minute of play. Palle Bødinni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Hake, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Charles-Henri Briat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Niklas Rudkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Niklas Rudkvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 58th minute, Herman Bogren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Niklas Rudkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malte Nyberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 62 minutes into the game, Behrn Arena IF's Kenny Ekeroth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niklas Rudkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Palle Bødinni was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Bo Hake capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bo Hake really showed his touch with that goal: 6-1. Niklas Rudkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Malte Nyberg went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Östersunds FK's zone, Kenny Ekeroth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niklas Rudkvist came out of the goal and Kenny Ekeroth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Behrn Arena IF's Palle Bødinni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Behrn Arena IF from getting a goal against them. In the 79th minute Malte Nyberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Rudkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenny Ekeroth in the 81st minute of play forced Östersunds FK's goalkeeper Niklas Rudkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Östersunds FK's Niklas Rudkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malte Nyberg in the 88th minute of play. Niklas Rudkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Rosalio in the 89th minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Charles-Henri Briat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Niklas Rudkvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Behrn Arena IF had played much better football throughout.
