Los Blancos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claes Wall was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 16 minutes of play, Östersunds FK's Ragnar Vennersten made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven Lööf was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Los Blancos defense, Bo Hake kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven Lööf. The Los Blancos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven Lööf should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 25 in the game by Andreas Pettersson from a close distance when the talented Niklas Rudkvist managed to make a qualified save. Östersunds FK's players were relieved. In the 25th match minute, Östersunds FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Palmquist to maneuver through the defense. Sven Lööf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ragnar Vennersten in the 28th minute of the match. Claes Wall hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ragnar Vennersten in the 45th minute of play forced Los Blancos's goalkeeper Sven Lööf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ragnar Vennersten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Lööf having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Sven Lööf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claes Wall, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 74 played minutes Los Blancos got a freekick which was hit by Mårten Grubb. In the 77th minute Olov Ahlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Rudkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute of the match Gert Hultman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niklas Rudkvist skillfully saved the ball. In the 82nd minute, Olov Ahlin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Blancos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. 92 minutes into the match, Claes Wall dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sven Lööf, 1-8. After 96 minutes of play, Östersunds FK's Ragnar Vennersten made it 1-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven Lööf was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Los Blancos fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Östersunds FK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
