With a little luck, Gärsnäs BF's Wang Cheng got control of the ball when Scofield Vinciguerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Besiktas's goal looked a bit too open when Frederick Griscti came free, but Honorio Froila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Frederick Griscti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Froila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Mark Forssberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wang Cheng. Mark Forssberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Scofield Vinciguerra got free with Wang Cheng in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute Scofield Vinciguerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wang Cheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, Besiktas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Scofield Vinciguerra to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Besiktas's goal looked a bit too open when George Hägglund came free, but Honorio Froila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wang Cheng was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mark Forssberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. Mark Forssberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wang Cheng having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Besiktas's Koppány Novák ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wang Cheng. Wang Cheng yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

53 minutes into the game, Besiktas's Magnus Kihlman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wang Cheng made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 56th minute, Mark Forssberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gärsnäs BF's Wang Cheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Forssberg in the 58th minute of play. Besiktas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Magnus Kihlman in the 59th minute. Magnus Kihlman made a great header on Besiktas's corner, it was just that Gärsnäs BF's Wang Cheng managed to reach the ball for a save. A nice corner shot did that Magnus Kihlman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wang Cheng quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience cheered when Magnus Kihlman's long shot passed Wang Cheng's right side. It was 5-0, 65 minutes into the match. Wang Cheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Forssberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Roger Willig hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the game, Besiktas's Mark Forssberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After 79 played minutes Gärsnäs BF got a freekick which was hit by Ingmar Östlund. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Mark Forssberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Besiktas's supporters rose to their feet, but Mark Forssberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wang Cheng breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Gärsnäs BF's zone, Koppány Novák stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wang Cheng came out of the goal and Koppány Novák tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gärsnäs BF's Wang Cheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Forssberg in the 86th minute of play. Wang Cheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Forssberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frederick Griscti's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Honorio Froila skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Dane Friebe took a quick shot and it went in 6-1 without a chance for Honorio Froila to make any attempt to save it. In the 95th minute, Tord Lang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Besiktas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
