Handi Crespo made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Arne Levander sent off a good shot on target. 18 minutes into the match, FC Utmarken's Kjell Ek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Handi Crespo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Albert Forss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslav Bartoška, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miroslav Bartoška in the 22nd minute of play forced FC Utmarken's goalkeeper Albert Forss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Änglarna's John Sandberg got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Handi Crespo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vidar Busk showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. Albert Forss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslav Bartoška in the 36th minute of play. Albert Forss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krister Örtendal in the 41st minute of the match. Handi Crespo had in the 47thth minute some difficulties stopping Arne Levander's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Miroslav Bartoška made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Vidar Busk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Utmarken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vidar Busk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Änglarna getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Johan Stolpe hit a great ball. Krister Örtendal struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Albert Forss didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Änglarna. Arne Levander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute of the match, Miroslav Bartoška tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Albert Forss saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 77th minute, Vidar Busk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 78th minute, Miroslav Bartoška left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Änglarna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Vidar Busk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 played minutes Änglarna got a freekick which was hit by Johan Stolpe. The supporters of FC Utmarken booed when Änglarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krister Örtendal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vidar Busk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arne Levander struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Handi Crespo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Utmarken.
