Spectators: 7682 (Terracing: 5762, Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Miroslav Bartoška kicked off to start the match. Lindesberg RK's Inge Qvarnström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslav Bartoška in the 3rd minute of play. 8 minutes into the game, Änglarna's Johan Stolpe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inge Qvarnström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Inge Qvarnström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Krister Örtendal went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 18th minute, Ingvar Damm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd match minute, Lindesberg RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herman Nordström to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute Miroslav Bartoška shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inge Qvarnström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inge Qvarnström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miroslav Bartoška in the 32nd minute of the match. Inge Qvarnström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johan Stolpe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inge Qvarnström came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Änglarna's Johan Stolpe. But to his dismay, Johan Stolpe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Inge Qvarnström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krister Örtendal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Krister Örtendal in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Inge Qvarnström saved Lindesberg RK from getting behind. 41 minutes into the game, Änglarna's Adrian Melberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inge Qvarnström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miroslav Bartoška in the 45th minute of play forced Lindesberg RK's goalkeeper Inge Qvarnström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Damm in the 56th minute of play forced Änglarna's goalkeeper Handi Crespo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Ingvar Damm put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Handi Crespo. Per-Arne Östlund hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Inge Qvarnström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miroslav Bartoška's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Inge Qvarnström was a little too slow when Johan Stolpe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 1-5. When Ingvar Damm fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lindesberg RK's protests and gave Ingvar Damm a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Änglarna booed when Lindesberg RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Damm didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute Miroslav Bartoška shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inge Qvarnström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christopher Ahlquist hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Miroslav Bartoška left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Änglarna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. Henric Henriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Inge Qvarnström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inge Qvarnström was a little too slow when Krister Örtendal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 1-7. Inge Qvarnström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Stolpe in the 90th minute of play. Eric Bammerman was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. After 94 played minutes, Änglarna's Ingmar Giliusson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Inge Qvarnström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Änglarna reached it. Inge Qvarnström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Krister Örtendal's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The Lindesberg RK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Änglarna were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
