In the 6th minute, Lindholmens IF's Ben Dailly seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ben Dailly the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lindholmens IF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ben Dailly had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Lindholmens IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lindesberg RK:s goal. Ingvar Damm shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Lindholmens IF were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Lindesberg RK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anderson Dal Bello took the corner. The corner led Lindholmens IF's Valdemar Mattsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Inge Qvarnström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Anderson Dal Bello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gösta Beckman in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Inge Qvarnström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anderson Dal Bello in the 22nd minute of play forced Lindesberg RK's goalkeeper Inge Qvarnström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Anderson Dal Bello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inge Qvarnström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Allan Gulliksson during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anderson Dal Bello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Inge Qvarnström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inge Qvarnström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar Mattsson in the 45th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lindesberg RK's zone, Anderson Dal Bello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inge Qvarnström came out of the goal and Anderson Dal Bello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ingvar Damm to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Ramon Senen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inge Qvarnström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Lindholmens IF getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Helge Martinsson hit a great ball. Lindholmens IF's Nico Gala proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Lindholmens IF from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdemar Mattsson in the 65th minute of play forced Lindesberg RK's goalkeeper Inge Qvarnström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lindesberg RK's Inge Qvarnström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anderson Dal Bello in the 67th minute of play. Robustiano Tximitx's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inge Qvarnström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Anderson Dal Bello took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Inge Qvarnström. Inge Qvarnström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 74 minutes into the match, Lindholmens IF's goalkeeper Nico Gala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ingvar Damm. Ramon Senen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the game, Lindholmens IF's Valdemar Mattsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inge Qvarnström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Inge Qvarnström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christer Ahlström in the 89th minute of play. Inge Qvarnström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valdemar Mattsson went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score.
