In the 26th minute Alexander Ålberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helge Björk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sotirios Papagiannopoulos made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Bridgemill FC's Tomas Ekeroth. In the 41st minute, Ivan Dalström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bridgemill FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a rather tough play, Halkus Valkus BK's Helge Sander got a free kick in the 45th minute. The Halkus Valkus BK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bridgemill FC were winning 0-2.

Jiří Grim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Arne Mickelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
