Jiří Grim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Bergström in the 4th minute of the match. Sebastián Trejos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nick Usel, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Pepito Arrelucea hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edu Cardozo in the 11th minute of play forced Halkus Valkus BK's goalkeeper Jiří Grim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Kröll BK's Benet Añe got a free kick in the 13th minute. Marc Beneth took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sebastián Trejos. Kröll BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 16th minute, Victor Félix left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kröll BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Sebastián Trejos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malte Danielsson in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Sotirios Papagiannopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute Victor Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jiří Grim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jiří Grim came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Kröll BK's Victor Félix. But to his dismay, Victor Félix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Kröll BK's Edu Cardozo got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the game, Victor Félix cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jiří Grim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 34 minutes into the match, Kröll BK's goalkeeper Sebastián Trejos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ovidiu Spirea. After 35 played minutes Kröll BK got a freekick which was hit by Benet Añe. After 39 played minutes Halkus Valkus BK got a freekick which was hit by Sotirios Papagiannopoulos. After 41 minutes, Malte Stenman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Halkus Valkus BK and the Kröll BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Halkus Valkus BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Stenman to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Kröll BK booed when Halkus Valkus BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Beneth didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Victor Félix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eric Bergström's late challenge caught a Halkus Valkus BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eric Bergström helped the player get up and apologised. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ovidiu Spirea to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Halkus Valkus BK defense, Victor Félix kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jiří Grim. The Halkus Valkus BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jiří Grim should have stopped the shot. Eric Bergström was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 60 played minutes Kröll BK got a freekick which was hit by Eric Bergström. A collision led to Kröll BK getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Victor Félix hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Kröll BK's Edu Cardozo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Kröll BK's Michel Hedvall was substituted for Victor Félix. In the 70th minute Edu Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jiří Grim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Edu Cardozo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jiří Grim, 0-6. Halkus Valkus BK made a substitution. Lütfullah Tan replaced Nick Usel. Edu Cardozo scored 0-7 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jiří Grim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jiří Grim was a little too slow when Edu Cardozo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-8. When the match was over Kröll BK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Halkus Valkus BK throughout the match.
