When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Jakob Alberg sped through Halkus Valkus BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jiří Grim. One of Halkus Valkus BK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tekie-Taka:s goal. Jiří Grim had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Christer Lundberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 25th minute, Christer Lundberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jiří Grim was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Jiří Grim came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Tekie-Taka's Christoffer Browall. But to his dismay, Christoffer Browall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Lawrence Sammut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nick Usel in the 31st minute of play. Okan Yükselir hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute Nick Usel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lawrence Sammut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jiří Grim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakob Alberg in the 36th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Tekie-Taka defense, Nick Usel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lawrence Sammut. The Tekie-Taka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lawrence Sammut should have stopped the shot. Lawrence Sammut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nick Usel, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. A throw-in in the 76th minute of the game was made by Sune Sjöberg with Alexander Ålberg as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 78thth minute of the game Jakob Alberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Halkus Valkus BK's Jiří Grim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lawrence Sammut was a little too slow when Sune Sjöberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 5-3. When Gilbert Asmundsson fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tekie-Taka's protests and gave Gilbert Asmundsson a yellow card for diving instead. 94 minutes into the match, Tekie-Taka's goal looked a bit too open when Lütfullah Tan came free, but Lawrence Sammut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Tekie-Taka were the better team. Tekie-Taka's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
