The crowd rose to their feet as Kaj Bengtsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tim Asserlindh. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Boströms Starz's Alvar Lundberg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jon Åström, made in the 11th minute of the game. Dag Säfström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicu Panaite could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Tim Asserlindh made a huge save. Nicu Panaite came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tim Asserlindh could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Nordstedt in the 31st minute of play forced Boströms Starz's goalkeeper Tim Asserlindh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Kaj Bengtsson lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Tim Asserlindh. In the 44th minute of the match, Nicu Panaite got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tim Asserlindh was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 47th minute Emanuel Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dag Säfström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Porto made a kick off. Emanuel Porto charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Porto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 50 played minutes Boströms Starz got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Porto. 57 minutes into the match, Sollebrunn IF's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Porto came free, but Dag Säfström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute Emanuel Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dag Säfström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Jan-Ove Fagrell made a precise shot to the right of Tim Asserlindh. Boströms Starz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. A sloppy throw-in by Jon Åström in the 68th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Boströms Starz's Lars Sjöström. Dag Säfström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Porto in the 68th minute of the match. Kaj Bengtsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Asserlindh having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Jan-Ove Fagrell notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Boströms Starz's Tim Asserlindh. Tim Asserlindh was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 83 minutes, Emanuel Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boströms Starz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Porto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emanuel Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dag Säfström having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Kaj Bengtsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Tim Asserlindh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sollebrunn IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Boströms Starz had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
