Fotbolls Grisarna's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Eugeniusz Cichocki scored to the left of an out of position Sven-Olof Tunander, making the score, 1-0. Fotbolls Grisarna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugeniusz Cichocki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurício Câmara charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maurício Câmara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ingemar Fransson made a kick off. Ingemar Fransson kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Sven-Olof Tunander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurício Câmara in the 52nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingemar Fransson in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Björn Esbjörnsson saved Xlashrs FC from getting behind.
