Koldo Feria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sakarias Rydberg in the 4th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Thomas Lindholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Magnus Eliasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arne Lund's late challenge caught a Södertälje Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arne Lund helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Södertälje Fc booed when Catamenia Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Lund didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Kwame Amokachi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. Koldo Feria came out of the goal and Sakarias Rydberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anders Käller during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 played minutes Catamenia Stars got a freekick which was hit by Anders Käller. Karl-Magnus Eliasson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thomas Lindholm went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Catamenia Stars's Sakarias Rydberg got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Södertälje Fc getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Rune Carlsson hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Catamenia Stars's Sakarias Rydberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Koldo Feria. That made the score 1-2 after 43 minutes of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sakarias Rydberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Södertälje Fc's Kristian Löfkvist got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Kristian Löfkvist hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Koldo Feria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Lund, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The score was now 1-4. 82 minutes into the game, Södertälje Fc's Kwame Amokachi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl-Magnus Eliasson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Catamenia Stars made a substitution. Kennet Busk replaced Arne Lund. Thomas Lindholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, Catamenia Stars's goalkeeper Karl-Magnus Eliasson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Lindholm. Karl-Magnus Eliasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Lindholm in the 96th minute of play. When the match was over Södertälje Fc could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Catamenia Stars throughout the match.
