After a defensive mix-up in Östra Frölunda's zone, Matias Edwardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven Rolfsson came out of the goal and Matias Edwardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Forsbacka IK's Viktor Granberg in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Östra Frölunda's goalie prevented a goal. Sven-Arne Gustavsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Ek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kennet Bolander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 32 minutes into the match, Forsbacka IK's goal looked a bit too open when Edvard Martinsson came free, but Sven-Arne Gustavsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matias Edwardo took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven Rolfsson. Sven Rolfsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 39 minutes into the game, Mattias Ek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sven-Arne Gustavsson. Mattias Ek showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Sven-Arne Gustavsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kennet Bolander in the 42nd minute. Forsbacka IK's Sven-Arne Gustavsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Forsbacka IK from getting a goal against them. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Östra Frölunda's goalkeeper Sven Rolfsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sven-Arne Gustavsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvard Martinsson in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edvard Martinsson made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvard Martinsson in the 51st minute of play forced Forsbacka IK's goalkeeper Sven-Arne Gustavsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Edvard Martinsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven-Arne Gustavsson. Forsbacka IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edvard Martinsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Sven-Arne Gustavsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kennet Bolander in the 61st minute of play. Sven-Arne Gustavsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Ek, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Sven-Arne Gustavsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Ek in the 70th minute of the match. Sven-Arne Gustavsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingmar Kolberg in the 71st minute of play. Forsbacka IK's Fredrik Tönnberg pulled a muscle in his leg after 73 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kennet Bolander in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Arne Gustavsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th match minute, Forsbacka IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milosz Paraszczuk to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Edvard Martinsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Arne Gustavsson was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. 81 minutes into the match, Forsbacka IK's goal looked a bit too open when Kennet Bolander came free, but Sven-Arne Gustavsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven Rolfsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viktor Granberg in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute Edvard Martinsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Arne Gustavsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Facundo Suarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Sven Rolfsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matias Edwardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Östra Frölunda had played much better football throughout.
