Catamenia Stars's Karl-Magnus Eliasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erling Abrahamsson in the 39th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Gustavsberg's Håkan Sundberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl-Magnus Eliasson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 46 minutes of play, Gustavsberg's Erling Abrahamsson made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl-Magnus Eliasson was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sakarias Rydberg was the one to do the kick off. Catamenia Stars's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 80 played minutes Catamenia Stars got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Ennegren. In the 89th minute Erling Abrahamsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Magnus Eliasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Catamenia Stars's zone, Erling Abrahamsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Magnus Eliasson came out of the goal and Erling Abrahamsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Karl-Johan Forsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee ended the match the Gustavsberg players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
