After 10 minutes of play, STHLM södra's Thomas Case made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camilo Castulo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 15 minutes, Adrian Browall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gustavsberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Browall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erling Abrahamsson kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. If Vedad Ibišević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 played minutes Gustavsberg got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Santana. In the 35th minute of the match, Michael Laudrup tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Camilo Castulo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Håkan Sundberg kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Michael Laudrup managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. STHLM södra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Laudrup was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, STHLM södra's Attilio Mastrangelo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camilo Castulo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Sverker Axelsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute, Attilio Mastrangelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomas Case was the one to do the kick off. Vedad Ibišević recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Thomas Case came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the STHLM södra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Case couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute, Attilio Mastrangelo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The STHLM södra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Camilo Castulo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Case, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Gustavsberg's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Case came free, but Camilo Castulo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Attilio Mastrangelo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Castulo. Gustavsberg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Attilio Mastrangelo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Vedad Ibišević received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Camilo Castulo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Vedad Ibišević managed to get in a good position for a shot. STHLM södra's supporters rose to their feet, but Vedad Ibišević was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Castulo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Camilo Castulo came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by STHLM södra's Vedad Ibišević. But to his dismay, Vedad Ibišević quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Freddie Soned took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Browall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Gustavsberg's Niclas Söderström got a free kick in the 85th minute. Vedad Ibišević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Castulo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Sverker Axelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. STHLM södra's supporters rose to their feet, but Sverker Axelsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Castulo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. STHLM södra walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
