Kvarnbergsplan IF's Roberto da Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Åke Stabbe in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of Stampen IF booed when Kvarnbergsplan IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto da Fonseca made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Väino Kapsas sent off a good shot on target. Stampen IF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
