Iwo Posadzki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Byström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Posadzki in the 22nd minute of play forced Gandalfs Fc's goalkeeper Christian Byström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Byström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eulalio Xabier's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Christian Byström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iwo Posadzki went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 32nd minute of the match UÅ Mästerbotten got a corner. Gandalfs Fc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iwo Kilar ran over to the corner to take the kick. 34 minutes into the game, Iwo Posadzki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Christian Byström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Iwo Posadzki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 44thth minute of the game Iwo Posadzki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gandalfs Fc's Christian Byström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Iwo Posadzki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Christian Byström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eulalio Xabier to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iwo Posadzki in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Byström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hernández Fernández replaced Iwo Kilar. Hernández Fernández received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Christian Byström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute Hernández Fernández shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Byström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, John Bennet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gandalfs Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but John Bennet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Magnus Ekrot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Hernández Fernández's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Byström was relentless in the 84th minute of the game.
