With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roger Caspersson in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aleksander Bergqvist saved FC Ickeluss from getting behind. Marko Apelquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Aleksander Bergqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When FC Ickeluss's Edvin Gullesson in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. August Dalberg was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 45 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Ickeluss fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! The FC Ickeluss players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Göteborg 1904 were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marko Apelquist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Isak Hedlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigvard Klack in the 53rd minute of the match. Aleksander Bergqvist stood somewhat misplaced when Marko Apelquist came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 55 minute. 65 minutes into the match, Göteborg 1904's goal looked a bit too open when Sigvard Klack came free, but Isak Hedlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Allan Beckman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isak Hedlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aleksander Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Caspersson in the 69th minute of the match. Göteborg 1904's Marko Apelquist got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Allan Beckman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isak Hedlund was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ickeluss's zone, Marko Apelquist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Göteborg 1904's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roger Caspersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute, Roger Caspersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sigvard Ferm got free with Aleksander Bergqvist in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to FC Ickeluss getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Pål Engström hit a great ball. Göteborg 1904's Sigvard Ferm got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 97 played minutes Göteborg 1904 got a freekick which was hit by Malte Törnqvist.
