A collision led to Göteborg 1904 getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Marko Apelquist hit a great ball. Andy Wenerdahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Caspersson in the 15th minute of play forced Klintehamn's goalkeeper Marvin Buchwalder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute Roger Caspersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marvin Buchwalder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilesindo Erosa hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Marvin Buchwalder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Benet in the 20th minute of play. Claes Fransson took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marvin Buchwalder. Marvin Buchwalder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Danny Zoontjens hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute Bertil Ödmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isak Hedlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bertil Ödmann made a great header on Klintehamn's corner, it was just that Göteborg 1904's Isak Hedlund managed to reach the ball for a save. Marvin Buchwalder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif Lang in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Klintehamn's goal looked a bit too open when Leif Lang came free, but Marvin Buchwalder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bertil Ödmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isak Hedlund having to interfere. Marvin Buchwalder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marko Apelquist in the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tobias Jakobsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tobias Jakobsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Klintehamn's Marvin Buchwalder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Klintehamn from getting a goal against them. Marko Apelquist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Marvin Buchwalder made a huge save. Marvin Buchwalder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Caspersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marko Apelquist got free with Marvin Buchwalder in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marvin Buchwalder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Caspersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Marko Apelquist came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Göteborg 1904 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marko Apelquist couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Roger Caspersson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marvin Buchwalder was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Claes Fransson charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claes Fransson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Claes Fransson hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Marko Apelquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marvin Buchwalder having to interfere. Göteborg 1904's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
