Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Herman Engström started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Jimmie Klintæus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Simrishamn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimmie Klintæus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl-Ove Asmundsson took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roger Eriksson. Roger Eriksson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Kungssten Kings's Tage Lövgren got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Herman Engström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Simrishamn's Jimmie Klintæus slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Osvald Alin. That made the score 1-1 after 16 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmie Klintæus in the 22nd minute of play forced Kungssten Kings's goalkeeper Osvald Alin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Tage Lövgren in the 24th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Simrishamn's Jimmie Klintæus. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Herman Engström put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Osvald Alin. Herman Engström took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osvald Alin. Osvald Alin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Simrishamn's Mikael Jansson got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 42nd play minutes Herman Engström shot 5-1, a short shot which went by Osvald Alin and just under the crossbar into goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tage Lövgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tage Lövgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Simrishamn's Herman Engström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osvald Alin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Kungssten Kings defense, Jimmie Klintæus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osvald Alin. The Kungssten Kings fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvald Alin should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Dahlberg in the 67th minute of play forced Kungssten Kings's goalkeeper Osvald Alin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimmie Klintæus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jimmie Klintæus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 minutes of play, Simrishamn's Herman Engström made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osvald Alin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78thth minute of the game Herman Engström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kungssten Kings's Osvald Alin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Bengt-Rune Ennegren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Simrishamn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt-Rune Ennegren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Torsten Dahlberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Osvald Alin having to make a save. After 90 played minutes Simrishamn got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Rune Ennegren. 94 minutes into the match, Herman Engström notched a goal, 10-1, to the right of Kungssten Kings's Osvald Alin. Osvald Alin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Simrishamn were the better team. Simrishamn's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
