Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valter Mellin in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Eriksson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 6 minutes Simrishamn's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Egon Ahlbom who took care of the corner kick. Egon Ahlbom made a great header on Cheetah Team's corner, it was just that Simrishamn's Roger Eriksson managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience was convinced that Pär Tönnberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claes Caspersson was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cheetah Team's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jimmie Klintæus was slow to take the kick. During this time Simrishamn's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Jimmie Klintæus almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cheetah Team's Claes Caspersson did a great save. Valter Mellin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Roger Eriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 25 minutes on the clock, Wiktor Bator commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Simrishamn fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Cheetah Team a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Egon Ahlbom, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Simrishamn's Roger Eriksson. 2-0. Cheetah Team were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Simrishamn's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Egon Ahlbom took the corner. The corner led to Cheetah Team's Valter Mellin getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Cheetah Team's goal looked a bit too open when Torsten Dahlberg came free, but Claes Caspersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torsten Dahlberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roger Eriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valter Mellin, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dick Forssell to strike the kick off in the second half. Roger Eriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dick Forssell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roger Eriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valter Mellin in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th match minute, Simrishamn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Rune Ennegren to maneuver through the defense. In the 59thth minute of the game Valter Mellin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Simrishamn's Roger Eriksson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roger Eriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valter Mellin in the 61st minute of the match. Jimmie Klintæus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 67 minutes of play, Cheetah Team's Valter Mellin made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roger Eriksson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Valter Mellin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roger Eriksson was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 73rd minute Valter Mellin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Eriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute Cheetah Team were awarded a corner. Egon Ahlbom went to the cornerflag to take it. Cheetah Team's Valter Mellin got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Torsten Dahlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Torsten Dahlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Claes Caspersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 85 minutes, Dick Forssell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cheetah Team and the Simrishamn players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dick Forssell hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Jimmie Klintæus might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claes Caspersson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jimmie Klintæus ran back to his position shaking his head. The Cheetah Team support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
