After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Ernest Froněk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haga IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernest Froněk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baturay Kutsan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 11th minute, Jens-Erik Vennerström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baturay Kutsan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Haga IF's goalkeeper Tor-Ivar Storm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alf Andersson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Erik Vennerström in the 16th minute of play forced IF Leikin's goalkeeper Baturay Kutsan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Karl-Åke Waller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, IF Leikin's Karl-Åke Waller got a free kick in the 21st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilhelm Rang in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baturay Kutsan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tor-Ivar Storm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alf Andersson in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute Karl-Åke Waller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor-Ivar Storm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jens-Erik Vennerström took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baturay Kutsan. Baturay Kutsan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Baturay Kutsan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 44th minute Jens-Erik Vennerström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baturay Kutsan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Ernest Froněk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Baturay Kutsan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernest Froněk made a kick off. Sven-Edvin Nyberg was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 54 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Haga IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of IF Leikin:s goal. Haga IF:s Tor-Ivar Storm showed great skill when he stopped Alf Andersson:s penalty. 57 minutes into the match, Haga IF's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Åke Waller came free, but Tor-Ivar Storm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Ernest Froněk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Haga IF getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Wilhelm Rang hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Wilhelm Rang dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Baturay Kutsan, 0-5. Haga IF's Wilhelm Rang got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilhelm Rang struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Baturay Kutsan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haga IF. Dušan Vlahović struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Wilhelm Rang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Baturay Kutsan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, IF Leikin's Ture Berglund got a free kick in the 80th minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Wilhelm Rang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haga IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilhelm Rang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilhelm Rang's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Baturay Kutsan firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Haga IF getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Wilhelm Rang hit a great ball. Baturay Kutsan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astrit Selmani in the 95th minute of the match. In the 97th minute of the match Haga IF got a corner. IF Leikin's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wilhelm Rang ran over to the corner to take the kick. Haga IF's Wilhelm Rang was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Baturay Kutsan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The IF Leikin fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Haga IF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
