Anfield Road's Adrian Wennerström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Veron in the 42nd minute of play. Mattias Snell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hannes Hedström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Bo Askstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Snell in the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute of the match Anfield Road got a corner. IQ Badboll's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roger Abrahamsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some careless play in the Anfield Road defense, Gabriel Veron kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adrian Wennerström. The Anfield Road fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adrian Wennerström should have stopped the shot. In the 61st minute, Gabriel Veron made a precise shot to the right of Adrian Wennerström. Anfield Road's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Adrian Wennerström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Veron in the 64th minute of the match. With a left leg Bo Askstedt saved IQ Badboll from getting behind. 84 minutes into the match, IQ Badboll's goal looked a bit too open when Hannes Hedström came free, but Bo Askstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 minutes IQ Badboll's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roger Abrahamsson who took care of the corner kick. Folke Hellström was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Folke Hellström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Bo Askstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Sigvard Bodin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. IQ Badboll walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
