The Taormina FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kjell-Arne Grönberg should have stopped the shot. Taormina FC's Kjell-Arne Grönberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Veron in the 32nd minute of play. Gabriel Veron in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kjell-Arne Grönberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Veron in the 38th minute of play forced Taormina FC's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Grönberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zbyszek Bejrut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell-Arne Grönberg having to interfere. If Ludwig Vennerström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ludwig Vollander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ludwig Vollander got free with Bo Askstedt in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ludwig Vennerström hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, IQ Badboll's Göran Bergvall got a free kick in the 55th minute. Kjell-Arne Grönberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszek Bejrut, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Kjell-Arne Grönberg came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by IQ Badboll's Zbyszek Bejrut. But to his dismay, Zbyszek Bejrut quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. When IQ Badboll's Gabriel Veron in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Taormina FC's goalie prevented a goal. 70 minutes into the game, Zbyszek Bejrut cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Kjell-Arne Grönberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 75thth minute of the game Ludwig Vollander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IQ Badboll's Bo Askstedt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Taormina FC's Ludwig Vollander got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Taormina FC's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Grönberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Taormina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Veron came free, but Kjell-Arne Grönberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Ludwig Vennerström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bo Askstedt was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. After a defensive mix-up in IQ Badboll's zone, Ludwig Vennerström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bo Askstedt came out of the goal and Ludwig Vennerström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ludwig Vollander's late challenge caught a IQ Badboll's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ludwig Vollander helped the player get up and apologised. Ludwig Vollander kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Zbyszek Bejrut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell-Arne Grönberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Taormina FC's Ludwig Vollander in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
