Melker Odin acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 7th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Roger Abrahamsson. In the 9th minute, Hannes Hedström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Anfield Road fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 11th match minute, Västerhaninge IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarl Apelqvist to maneuver through the defense. Folke Hellström took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melker Odin. Melker Odin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Folke Hellström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Melker Odin made a huge save. Folke Hellström had several of the Västerhaninge IFK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 22 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Melker Odin as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 24th minute Mattias Snell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melker Odin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 minutes of play, Anfield Road's Folke Hellström made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melker Odin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Melker Odin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 32nd minute, which inside left pole to 5-0. After some careless play in the Västerhaninge IFK defense, Hannes Hedström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melker Odin. The Västerhaninge IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melker Odin should have stopped the shot. Melker Odin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hannes Hedström went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Folke Hellström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melker Odin having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Melker Odin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folke Hellström in the 51st minute of the match. Melker Odin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Hellström in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Mattias Snell made a precise shot to the right of Melker Odin. Västerhaninge IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Melker Odin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folke Hellström in the 62nd minute of the match. Melker Odin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Folke Hellström, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After some careless play in the Västerhaninge IFK defense, Folke Hellström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melker Odin. The Västerhaninge IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melker Odin should have stopped the shot. Folke Hellström scored 10-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melker Odin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Anfield Road fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Anfield Road's Folke Hellström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 11-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hannes Hedström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mattias Snell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Melker Odin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the game, one of Västerhaninge IFK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 92ndth minute of the game Folke Hellström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Västerhaninge IFK's Melker Odin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Anfield Road fully deserved thier win.
